The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.

    Age (If you want): 25

How Primal are you: Trying to go balls to the wall 100% but I just started about a week ago

Do you consume dairy: I just cut it out, gave all my milk and yogurt to my roommate!

Motivator for switching to Primal: I just generally want to be healthy and fit. I thought I was eating the right foods and was getting in better shape doing P90X and running but I was tired all the time and ALWAYS hungry. Now I have loads of energy and can go hours without eating. I am also hoping to improve my insomnia, IBS, and migraines and get off the meds I'm taking.

Favorite exercise: Squat, deadlift, push ups, yoga

Favorite Primal food: steak, almond crusted chicken, smoothies! stay posted...

Best part about being Primal: having energy, not starving, no calorie counting, eat awesome yummy food, feel like your body is functioning the way it's supposed to...

Worst part about being Primal: all my friends think I'm crazy, but I don't mind and I plan to slowly introduce the concepts to them

Hey guys I just finished my fourth day, how is going for you? I haven't had any cravings yet either and I'm surprised that I can already tell a difference, how do you feel?

How Primal are you: Probably about 90% if I had to be honest about it

Do you consume dairy: Yes, milk and cheese!

Do you drink coffee or tea: Nope

Motivator for switching to Primal: Firstly, my husband has been primal since the beginning of the year and says he's never felt better. He lost about 16 lbs (not that he had to lose it, he's always been pretty healthy and skinny) and says he feels great eating primal. Secondly, I just had a baby three weeks ago and figure I'd start in on it so we are both eating the same meals. I lost the baby weight within the first two weeks (35 lbs) but I'd like to lose an additional 25 lbs.

    Favorite exercise: I love hiking.

Favorite Primal food: Salmon, eggs, steak, bacon....

Best part about being Primal: Not having to count calories or points! Oh, and I can still have wine!

Worst part about being Primal: I do admit that I miss bread and the occasional pastry....
