Age (If you want): 46
How Primal are you: I am a newbie since the end of November. I feel the best when I am 100% Primal, but have fallen off the wagon a couple of times since going Primal with the holidays.
Do you consume dairy: Yes, mostly cheese. Some raw milk, occasionally, raw, homemade kefir, occasionally.
Do you drink coffee or tea: Yes, start my day with Starbucks French Roast coffee every morning. I love good, strong, black coffee. I will also drink herbal tea's later in the day.
Motivator for switching to Primal: As I have gotten older, it didn't matter how much I worked out, or how much I did not eat, I still could feel the pounds creeping on. I work out harder in my 40's than I ever did in my 30's or my 20's. I felt like I had gotten to this point where I had to work out 12 to 15 hours a week, & eat like a bird to maintain my figure. It was very frustrating. I was hungry all the time, I craved sugar all the time, and I thought about food non-stop. Since going Primal, I have slowed my workouts way down, at least for a now, I'm not hungry all the time, and I feel so much better. I still have cravings. I fell off the wagon today, because I hosted an Italian Theme going away party for a friend, and felt obligated to partake in the food, which was nothing but pasta, and cheesecake, etc, etc. I decided I am like an alcoholic with sugar. When I start, I cannot stop, and it is just not worth it. I don't want to fall off the wagon again.
Favorite exercise: I love to run, I love to road bike, I love to lift weights, I love martial arts. I taught group fitness for 26 years, so I am completely over group fitness classes. I do like yoga, I love to hike, I love dancing. I just love to move. Anything that gets me moving, gets me outside, and I am happy.
Favorite Primal food: I love steak.....I never allowed myself to love steak, but now I am allowed to eat it, and I am loving it. My husband is so happy.
Best part about being Primal: Feeling good, feeling in control of my hunger
Worst part about being Primal: Sometimes I miss pizza, or ice cream, but after today, it is not worth it. I feel like hell. So, I have to say, nothing. I love being Primal, and I love the Primal mindset.

The Questions:
Your location:
Currently UK.
Age (If you want):
31
How Primal are you:
I've been pretty good the last couple of months, but just this week I decided to be even better. I allow myself some chocolate(very dark and with little sugar), and occasionally some potato, but other than that I'm pretty strict I would say.
Do you consume dairy:
Only cheese and butter. I think I'm lactose intolerant which is a shame because I love yoghurt!
Do you drink coffee or tea:
I don't like coffee, but I drink loads of tea(all sorts)! Kind have to when you live in England ...lol.
Motivator for switching to Primal:
Have had IBS for years and been desperate to figure out what I can eat won't make me feel rubbish. And I want a more natural lifestyle.
Favorite exercise:
Hiking in the mountains. Basically anything that involves nature.
Favorite Primal food:
Meat! Lamb and chicken are my favourites.
Best part about being Primal:
Feeling good, having lots of energy and not being so darn hungry all the time!
Worst part about being Primal:
It can be hard to resist temptations even though you know they're not good for you.

Age (If you want): 32
How Primal are you: I'm only just starting (2 weeks now), and don't think I can ever be a 100%er (actually, it's more that I don't really want to be. I want to be healthy and eat well as much as possible, but I also acknowledge life is short, and I do enjoy food too much to limit my choices 100% of the time. I may well have some bread, or a piece of cake, here and there. I'm not sure what % that is? heh)
Do you consume dairy: primarily cheese and yogurt (Fage! yum!) I only drink milk if I make hot cocoa. And I do love hot cocoa in winter.
Do you drink coffee or tea: Coffee. it's a weakness. I have stopped putting sugar in though
Motivator for switching to Primal: I want to feel more energetic, clear, and healthy. Losing a few pounds would be nice too but isn't strictly necessary
Over the holidays I really felt awful - just exhausted and icky and sort of "clouded." I kept eating delicious sweets, then crashing, then going back for more carbs (in other forms) to try and feel better, and I just felt worse. Before I found this site I told myself I'd break that cycle once I got home and back to normal, but stumbling onto this site helped me plan that out a lot better. I may stick with it, mostly because this is how I tend to eat left to my own devices (the only exceptions being that I used to include spaghetti/pasta quite a bit, and do love to bake). But in general, in the grocery store, etc - I find it pretty easy to feed myself this way
Favorite exercise: walking, running/intervals, horseback riding
Favorite Primal food: cocoa (unsweetened)-chili rubbed seared steak.
And fish. FEEEESH! I love you feesh. I am unable to eat spinach or broccoli at the moment, but looking forward to adding those back in, those are my favorite veggies.
Best part about being Primal: Energy! I can already feel I have more energy
Worst part about being Primal: Social gatherings. Seems it can be tricky to eat what I want in these settings, especially at restaurants. Some of my best friends get together at a pizza place every week, I have yet to see what I can eat there (the only tolerable salad is spinach, so for now that's out
)
