    Motivator for switching to Primal:

    Favorite exercise:
    Yoga

    Favorite Primal food:
    Bacon!!!!!!

    Best part about being Primal:

In general, I love eating meat and saturated fats. While my palate is taking a while to adjust away from sweets (chocolate is my vice), I am definitely indulging in the savory delights that come with this way of eating.

    Worst part about being Primal:
The effects on my body when I eat something from the SAD - like too much sugar or wheat. At least now I can hear my body telling me what it needs...

How Primal are you: Right now, not very primal, mainly due to difficulties getting the family on board. For a couple of weeks I managed to eat mostly primal though and I saw some impressive improvements in things like my acne and general energy levels so I have faith that it will work and I really want to get into it head on.

Do you consume dairy: Yes, though its usually just some cheese with a meal, I don't drink milk or anything.

Do you drink coffee or tea: Currently drink 1 instant coffee each morning when I wake up, wouldn't mind switching it up to try out real coffee beans as well as getting some green tea (only one in the family that thinks its delicious).

Motivator for switching to Primal: It just makes so much sense! I don't need to lose weight (about 60kg at the moment, at about 6 feet tall), rather, I want to gain lean mass instead. I see the fad diets my sister tries out and they always end disastrously. That and, if I can convince everyone that this works, I hope that maybe my parents and sister will jump on board (maybe my brother too, but he eats fairly healthily even for someone not following a primal lifestyle).

Favorite exercise: It feels good to sprint, but most of all I loved martial arts while I was doing them (tae kwon do). Would love to join another martial arts centre when I get a more stable financial situation.

Favorite Primal food: Eggs! They're so good!

Best part about being Primal: I'm looking forward to sticking with it and clearing up my skin for good, when no medication in the past has had any success, as well as all the other health benefits.

Worst part about being Primal: It's so bothersome to try and get people on-board. Everyone is caught up in whole grains here (with one of the biggest breakfast meals around being "Weet-bix, breakfast of champions" sponsored by the Australian Cricket Team no less. People think I'm nuts if I try to inform them about the downsides to grains.
Oh and getting a good amount of sunlight each day can be a bit challenging when all your hobbies revolve around being indoors lol. I'm not moving my gaming consoles into the sun anytime soon!

    Hello

I'm from Alberta, Canada and have been eating primal going into my third week. I have one to two coffees a day and I drink decaf. I also roast my own beans, which is marvelous! My only dairy on a regular basis is about an oz of heavy cream in my coffee. I've never had issues with dairy as a rule but don't consume much of it.

My main motivation for going primal is to increase my energy level and get rid of about twenty five pounds. My favorite exercise is karate training and kettlebells.

My favorite primal meal is those scrumptious pumpkin muffins in Mark's cookbook....I also love smelling coconut flour and oil?? lol!

The best part about being primal is the enjoyment of food without the slow down, regret or lead gut.

Worst is between explaining your choices and trying to get into the habit of eating this way. I am struggling some days to make sure everything is on the list before I eat it....lol.

thanks and looking forward to meeting and greeting with ya all.
