    I have been reading your journal and congratulations! I have started fast 5 (based on your thread post) and on my 4th day..have not weighed yet but know by sticking too it it will happen. I notice I eat considerably less with this but find myself snacking towards the end of the window. Did you notice this? Your target is in sight, I can't imagine how that feels.

    when im eating fast5 style, i tend to eat 1 full meal and a 1/2-full meal towards the end as well .. sometimes i eat more than i normally would in a day, sometimes less.. ive cut back to 5 days a week on the fast5 so i can enjoy days with my wife and eat with her LOL .. we will see, either way a couple weeks of that really knocked me off my plateau!

    ETA - no idea on the goal weight thing .. i have a large frame, but still have some weight to lose .. we will see where i end up .. if i can get to 195 i will more than likely simply go back to regular primal eating whenever im hungry and weight myself every couple weeks just to make sure i dont gain (atleast thats what id LOVE to do!)

    197.00000 this morning! down another 1.6lbs ... honestly this weekend i was way overboard with the custard and a few lil things (was scared i would actually gain).. my body almost seems to lose MORE weight when i eat sugar .. but i need to get back on track .. 36 hour fast began last night ...

    keep it up everyone! im inching towards 189!!!!!!!!!!!! its CRAZY~! its nuts to me to walk into a store and grab a pair of 34 pants and have no need to try em on, they were almost a size large! ... 8 months ago or so i had to make sure i tried on 44s!

    This is an inspiring story sir! My mother had Crohn's and I sometimes wonder if her experience would be better if they had known more about diet when she was younger.

    I have lost 88 lbs since I started my weight loss journey but it's been a much longer journey of about 3 yrs now. I've only recently found the the paleo lifestyle and it suits me to a tee. It must be incredible to have lost that much so quickly.

    push ups are the best keep going! started being able to do 5 now bust out 80 a day- 4 sets of 20- my fave exercise- tho my goal is to be able to do 50 pull ups.. long way to go
