Not that I think you should know what I am talking about. Bah! See what I mean haha!
Well, bop me on the head with a big bottle of agave "nectar!" (95% fructose.)
I guess these morons never read the NYT, which carried Taubes' work about 1995, which fully developed into GCBC.
When the growers of wholesome veggies start funding food research, maybe the pendulum will swing back towards sanity. Until then, follow the $$$$$$..... (That last comment, for instance.)

[quote]
For many years, people with diabetes were told to avoid sugar. However, modern scientific research has shown that people with diabetes can include moderate amounts of sugar in their diet as part of mixed meals, without compromising blood glucose control. Indeed, including some sugar in the diet may actually be beneficial to people with diabetes as it makes it easier for them to keep their fat intake down.</blockquote>

As a scientist, I endorse this study.
Sugar for people w/ diabetes. Now, that might be the silliest thing I've heard all year. Amazing what gets published sometimes.
Isn't visceral fat the *really* bad fat? And the possibility of it in kids, too. Makes me shudder!
