    Need help from OZ

    Primal Fuel
Many years ago I read something about a 'meal' prepared by Australian aborigines.

It was many animals that were simply eviscerated and stuffed within the next bigger animal. Then the collection was tossed upon a fire. I don't remember how many animals were involved. Actually, I don't know if it was something real or some fiction that I was reading at the time.

Is that something that really was or is it something that was some one's imagination? If true, what was the exact composition?

There is a similar bird-based dish like the one you are describing, I think a pigeon (or something similar) is stuffed into a chicken, which is stuffed into a duck, which is stuffed into a turkey. The end result is then baked.
I think this may be a british or american invention tho.

I'm an Aussie and I've never heard of this. Not that this means it doesn't exist, just that it isn't common knowledge if it does.

Here's some interesting info on what they did eat and how it was prepared.

Sounds like a Turducken to me, a Louisiana favorite. A boned turkey stuffed with a duck, stuffed with a chicken stuffed with Cajun sausage. Delicious!
