Great thread!
I can achieve anything if I only get ON with it!
I'm destined to end up a naughty old lady with a twinkle in her eye and fields full of pigs, chickens, cows, and probably an ostrich. Just for the hell of it.
I don't have to panic-feed to prevent fainting attacks.
Heart palpitations are NOT normal after a big meal!
Veggies are optional

"If you're a girl, have short hair, and lift weights regularly, most people will think you're a lesbian (I'm not actually, lol)."
I still get this despite my long dreadlocks.
- It's all about insulin.
- Fat is good.
- Eat enough protein.
- Grain causes stomach bloating. Don't eat it.
- I really, really like bodyweight work.
- I really, really like lifting heavy things.
- HIIT is fun, too.
- Believing and applying all of the above will make a girl Crossfit sexy.

Latest post: Stop Being Stupid
I've learned that the impossible is possible...
- I don't need sugar
- I don't need wheat
- I'm actually really strong, and getting stronger, and liking it
- It's ok to play without feeling guilty (golf)
- I can do a 24 hour fast
- I don't have to worry about my cholesterol
- I can be around non-primal foods and not be tempted to eat them
- I don't need potatoes
- I really like going to rock concerts, nothing to do with being primal, nonetheless, it's something I've learned (39 bands this year)

Good call--some PR firm should pick this up pro bono. A little positive spin and some razzle dazzle advertising. Call it Appetite Be Gone or Brain Boost or something like that.

Amen to that
I learned that I have been using a flawed cost-benefit analysis when balancing going completely primal vs. quality of life.
Before, My reasoning was quitting a short-term pleasure for long-term health benefits.
My mistake was failing to realize that quitting a short-term pleasure can actually lea to very pleasurable short-term benefits. This happened to me when I decided to quit beer for 2 weeks to see what happened. I discovered that I felt much much better during and after the weekends.
Had I known this short-term benefit beforehand, the (apparently inconceivable) decision of quitting beer would have been way more straight forward.

Here's some of the stuff I learned this year
* When you no longer eat sugar, fat becomes sweet
* I doesn't matter where the sweet comes from - honey, maple syrup, sucanat - it's badness
* My body can't handle gluten. At all. And that it makes potlucks/group meals really suck!
* Two meals & a snack is enough
* Exercising can really be fun
* I can weigh less and feel better than I did 10 or even 15 years ago!
* Non primal but fun - I'm learning to play the frame drum
