    Chronicals of the Feasts (and Famines) - Apex Predator's Food Journal

    So I've kept a lifting journal on here for a while, but never managed to get my food intake into it, which is just as well, as it's easier to keep tabs on my progress that way.

    I'm about to turn 30. I've been primal for about 18mos, though I incorporated ideas from it earlier.I'm blessed to be fairly healthy, primal cleared up the little stuff I had. I lost something like 40-50 lbs, but gained back an equivalent amount of good weight. I'm 5'10", and don't weigh myself but I guess I'm ~210-220. No clue on BF, 6pack is about 1/2 way in. I eat a lot. I lift heavy, and am fairly active but do no "cardio".

    I follow the Kurt Harris avoidance of the 3 neolithic agents of disease(gluten, excess O6 and excess fructose) more than primal. I eat potatoes and white rice.

    Goals, in order of importance:

    1)Health
    2)Strength/fitness
    3)Longevity

    5)Appearance

    Please feel free to ask any questions, make comments, and harass me if I don't keep up with the journal.

    B(~8am) Breve
    L(~noon) Pork BBQ, vinegar slaw, Grandpa Utz Potato chips(small bag)
    S(~9pm) Sweet Potato Fries (fried in soybean oil, tragically)
    D(~11pm) Sliced pork chops fried in lard

    B(~10am) Breve, 3 polyface eggs scrambled with HWC and cheddar cheese, entire package of Kunzler pepper bacon)

    L(~3pm) Delicious seafood dish at Thai restaurant, bowl of rice, Thai sweet tea(sugary)

    D(~Midnight) Italian sausage, satueed onions, pepperjack and parm cheese.

    Actually haven't finished it yet- lunch is scheduled for 1pm. I wanted to do 40hours, but it wasn't in the cards, schedule-wise.

    Fast was actually very, very easy. Slight headache, because I dramatically cut down my caffiene, I had more energy, and wasn't drinking my breves. Had I been on top of it, that wouldn't have been an issue. Slight, passing hunger. I cooked food for the week and went grocery shopping while fasting, wasn't particularly tempted. Forgot to drink enough water as well. Mood was excellent, actually very positive. More energy than usual, slightly clearer mind.

    Well it sounds like it was a success then! That is good to hear. I have not done an extended fast as of yet. I fast from between 6-7pm to 12-2 pm the next day nearly everyday.
