    My second all-time EP fave. It combines the three foods I love the most: BACON, CHARD, BUTTERNUT SQUASH. I'm embarrassed to say I ate the entire thing all by myself the first time I made this. It's that good.


    Skillet Butternut Squash and Greens | Everyday Paleo (and bacon!)


    Tip: Press the easy button and get a bag (or two) of peeled, diced butternut squash at Trader Joe's. It will cut down significantly on your prep time.

    I would not know if this freezes well; it's never made it that far.

    Hi I LUUUUVVVV butternut chicken. I chuck some chicken in a baking dish with butternut squares spinkle crushed chillies, cardamon, garlic, cinnamon, salt and add a cup of coconut milk to it - mix everything, cover with foil and in the oven (190 Deg C) for about an hour - then remove the foil and leave in oven for another 30 minutes. I made a huge dish and keep it in the freezer in smaller portions as my back up meal for days when i am not sure what to cook

    Thanks Karin - first, tell me about bacon wrapped eggs. Any new combination of these two is always going to be a winner - how do you put this together?

    I put pictures into my posts using what's called BBcode - this is the formatting language for forum boards. Many picture hosting sites including Flickr, Photobucket an so on have BBcode sections as part of their sharing. I just use the raw code, which is [ img] (I have had to put a space in there so that the forum does not hide it) then the address of the picture hosted elsewhere on the internet (right-click and choose 'link to picture' or similar depending on your browser) and then [ /img] to finish.

    So, that's

    [ img]http://locationofyourpicture.com/picture.jpg[ /img]

    ... without the spaces and your picture will appear in-line in your post.

    oh and Paul.. had the crepe with the chili and it was wonderful this morning.. chili and eggs.. who knew?

    That's good to hear Karin, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

    I certainly enjoyed my breakfast (at 11:30) of bacon wrapped eggs - thanks for the idea!





    I pepped mine up with a good splash of Tabasco on the yolks.
