    Most simple ice cream recipe ever

    I think this recipe is deffinately primal proof !
    It's so easy and hands on time is only about 5-7 minutes

    Just put
    2 cups frozen strawberries
    1 can coconut milk
    1 tsp vanilla extract

    in a blender (a strong one) and blend until smooth.
    Put in a container and freeze for about 2-3 hours stirring occasionally (for better texture).
    Enjoy!

    i actually wanted the ice cream right away and didnt freeze. It was good that way too!

    I should try freezing it like that, eat it with a spoon. I've always found coconut milk to remind me of melted ice cream any way. And coconut milk that has been through the blender, even with fruit, at room temp seems to aerate and makes me feel bloaty.

    Melt Coconut oil, stir powder dark cacao to the consistency you like, put in candy mold (or just pour onto a tray) in the freezer, voilam, sugar free dark chocolate candies. REALLY good with honey drizzled in them before freezing.

    What size can of coconut milk do you use for 2 cups of strawberries? I have a 161 ml can in my cupboard just crying to be used.

    I've been making primal popsicles. Strawberry is a favorite ingredient, it freezes beautifully. My last popsicles were strawberry, coconut milk, vanilla, a tiny bit of sugar and a little gelatin for texture. Yogurt is good for ice mixtures too.

    Just made this; added a spoonful of raw honey to mine. HOLY CRAP THAT'S YUMMY! And easy, too.

    Now you've made me want to buy an ice cream maker so I can get the texture "just so."

    if you do it with frozen cherries and add some torani sugar free chocolate syrup, it tastes just like B&J's cherry garcia

    This recipe calls for:
    1/3 Cup of Heresy's Unsweetened Chocolate Cocoa Powder
    1 1/2 Cups of sugar
    1 Can Evaporated Milk
    2 Cups whipping cream
    1 Teaspoon real vanilla extract


    Mix together in your sauce pan:
    1/3 Cup of Heresy's Unsweetened Chocolate Cocoa Powder
    1 1/2 Cups of sugar

    Once you have finished mixing the cocoa powder and sugar together, take a spatula and press the mixture against the side of the pan. This will help remove any lumps of cocoa powder, or sugar.

    Add in the Can of Evaporated milk and stir it in with the cocoa sugar powder

    ow put the mixture on the a stove burner set on medium heat. Then stir the mixture constantly until all of the powder is dissolved into the evaporated milk. Remove it from the burner and place it in the refrigerator until it is at least room temperature if not colder.

    Once your mixture is room temperature, or colder Mix in the:
    2 Cups whipping cream
    1 Teaspoon real vanilla extract

    Make sure that you mix it well enough that there are no large chunks. Continue to stir until all chunks are gone.

    Put the ice cream in your ice cream maker. This ice cream recipe takes longer than most to freeze. It took our ice cream maker a little over 35 minutes.
