    Interesting read. Unfortunately, I don't think purslane is among the weeds around my house.

    I googled it and found that Amazon sells seeds. But I'm pretty sure I've seen it for sale at a nursery here in New Jersey. It also just seems to sprout up In my veggie garden beds. I was just routinely pulling it out until I figured out what it actually is.

    It took me forever to convince my parents not to pull it out of the garden, that it's not "just a weed."

    If I find those irksome weeds that keep sprouting between the pavers on my walkway are edible, I'm getting even-- but then they won't grow. Damned weeds!

    My garden is woefully lacking in purslane, but we make up for it with insane amounts of lamb's Quarters...
