    Primal Celebrations!

It was my wife's birthday today, so I snuck a few bits in a bag to take with us on our evening walk.

We had a great walk, pitched a blanket on the crest of a hill with a fantastic view all around, ate, drank, lazed around watching the clouds, the sun descend and made some new friends on the (slower) walk back - a happy bunch of grass eating ruminant bovines.

What a perfect end to a happy day!

That is awesome! My hubby could take pointers

OK-have to ask, I see radishes, lettuce, caviar? Whats the white stuff in with the radishes and the orange slice on the lettuce? That all looks so yummy!

Ha! Thanks, guys (well, gals mostly)

In the box (I know ... plastic, but it's all I had) are some radishes and boiled eggs. Boiled eggs are great with caviar as well. The orange slice is smoked salmon (not pictured in the first photograph). I used crisp lettuce as "bread" now and we both enjoy that much more than using grain bread. So, smoked salmon on "bread" topped with caviar.
