Ooh shopping. Wish one of you ladies lived closer and could go with me. DH is really patient, but sometimes I was a "girl" opinion on things!

So I went shopping.. got 2 smaller sized jeans.. they are still womens but NOW they are 18's!! I also got a brown suedish jacket, a couple of camis (cream and chocolate) and a satiny red blouse that was so cute. The tops were clearanced!! HA!!! the red satin is kind of flashy, I am thinking a bit much for a "meeting". The jacket and cami I think are simple yet a feminine. What say you?

Chris.. I was thinking about what I already own and I just can not think of what I would want to wear that I do not feel is frumpy.

the red and the jacket don't go together? That would be a bit flashy. Can't go feeling frumpy! But you are right the cami and jacket would look simple and feminine and not look like you are trying too hard.

I am thrilled you are in an 18, and a little jealous, I am still wearing 20's, but I carry my weight below the belt.

Oh, I wish we all lived closer. I wouldn't take dh shopping with me on a bet. I do sometimes take my daughter, but she tends to talk me into things that are just at the edge of my comfort zone and as a consequence I don't wear them unless i am feeling really confident. ie. rarely. My BFF is a bean pole, really, she complains all the time about how flat her butt and chest are. I would be surprised if she weighs 100 pounds.

The jeans are 18W and have a bit of the stretchy in them. It is kind of hard to find jeans that do not. Enclosed are some pics.. some are not as clear as I would like.. but the pockets on the jeans are a-dor-able!
