I am planning my dd this week on Tues and Thurs. I am trying to plan how to do those days though. Since things are cooling down, I am drinking and enjoying ice tea. So, I think if I stick with that until lunchtime and then have a 100 calorie something, hopefully it will curb the hunger until I get home and eat a fairly normal dinner.
For me it has turned out to be easiest to wait to eat as long as possible, which since I do the DD's on my work days is when I get home from work. If you plan to eat a normal dinner (perfectly reasonable thing to do) I would plan to have it in the crock pot, so you can eat it when you are ready and not having to plan and prepare it when you get home and are hungry.
Please prepare yourself mentally to know that going over your calories is not a failure but a learning experience. This is not an all or nothing way of eating. Good Luck!
My DD's this week look like they will be Tuesday and Thursday as well.
Gotcha! I figure this week is a learning curve getting back on track.
Sometimes, I do something like 3/4 cup egg whites, an entire container of sliced mushrooms, and a cucumber. Pretty minimal calories, with a lot of bulk. Then a normal dinner. And, I second either dinner in the crockpot or something else you can just get home and eat.
P.S. I have a ton of freezer/crockpot meals pinned. Many of them can be dumped in the crockpot in under 5 minutes.

Wow.. last night was tough. I even had caffeine and yeah, still sleepy. I am feeling better this morning though. Today is my dd and I am nervous about it but not sure why really. I mean, I have done this before. I am starting off the day with caffeine and nothing else. I did clean a cucumber to bring in case I REALLY need something as well as some pork rinds. The plan is to not eat until I get home for dinner. However, I felt a safety net might be beneficial.
Counting down for school to be out.. I have 156 projects to grade though before the 21st. While I am using a rubric, it still takes time.
90 degrees are what they are calling for today and LOTS of sunshine.. HELLO!! Oh, and another skirt!! Shoot, this might become a habit..LOL
not feeling hungry.. BUT I have a horrible headache..
