I think the key is to remember that one day, one meal, won't mess things up (I mean, like me, you might see a decent bump that takes a week to get rid of). However, letting that one day, one meal continue into many days and many meals...well, that's where I get into trouble

OOOok.. After doing calculations, HERE is where I am starting:

    1700 calories
    21-30 g carbs (aiming for 5%)
    132 g fat 70%
    protein 106 25%

When I input this into KR I get @ 1.8 which is fine by me. I see this as hopefully a fat burning state. I am also re-reading SPEED. So many of the concepts, perceptions and reality about food are still distorted or have become distorted again. I am tracking the SPEED steps along with macros, KR, FBS, weight etc. OMG.. this from the girl who HATES tracking??? I got my geek on!

I can email you my spreadsheet if interested, just PM me.

ooo, you guys are so geeky! How fun.

Karin, your numbers look great! That seems like a totally doable set.

I gotta reread all of SPEED again, I just skimmed it the other night.

I'm a total data geek, but I haven't always been real consistent about tracking. However, when I went back and had almost 3 months of data from when I WAS losing (and about at this same weight), the lightbulb went off. Though it's a pain, it tells me so much.

I've added a few additional columns as well - like when I'm eating, how I'm sleeping, exercise, and TOM. Of course, I haven't been checking FBS lately. I plan to do so only periodically, since my FBS is well within the normal range.

the thing that has turned me into a religious tracker is that when I lost down to 235, in a fairly easy fashion, I was not tracking. And as I started to plateau I had nothing to look back on, the data was not there and it could never be retrieved. I was doing a version of intuitive eating and they shunned the idea of tracking. But OMG, it would have been so helpful!

ok.. too many details.. too much stress.. margarita is now involved and so is a pizza. I will start Sunday.

Long story short, the woman was falling out of the vehicle because she was drunk and not trying to grab her. She is 11, she is ADHD, she has anxiety issues.. all this I have to remember so I don't lose it.

    Observations about myself:

I can not focus on eating healthy and losing weight when caos abounds in my life. During those times, I am doing everything in my power to not drown emotionally and implode.

I am still upset.. I am still coping.. I am going to try and have a normal day and let the chips fall where they may. I feel defeated at this point. I am hoping, praying, planning on tomorrow being a day where I can look at my goals again and feel anything but numb.

Sometimes, you just need to focus on life. Try not to use food as a coping mechanism, but don't stress about weight, macros, etc. Let yourself feel all of those emotions and work through them. And, if you deal with things less than ideally, that's okay to. Tomorrow is another day.

    Hugs. Thinking of you!
