* Eat up to your UD calories. This helps sustain you through the DD.
* Try to eat balanced on your UD. I usually allow myself a small treat (baker's chocolate with unsweetened sunbutter).
* Preplan your DD. Seriously. 500 calories is completely doable, but not if you don't plan.
* Lots of liquids (more difficult for you since you teach).
* Salt as needed.
* Remember - the next day you eat again. You can do anything for a few hours.
