well I shifted to a lower protein because of what i have been reading @ how too much protein keeps you from losing weight. I think if I basically go with 2 protein containing meals i can keep it low and under control. this way the bits and pieces of protein that nickel and dime those protein numbers will still be ok

that is a good point, the nickle and diming stuff is often what gets me, it is why I shoot to be below my goals...

just another tid bit, I read that Nora (can't spell her last name) "Primal Body, Primal Mind" among others, suggests no more than 25g of protein at a sitting. (just to confuse the issue further) Anyway that is what I have been working on, not topping 25g and it seems to have helped.

This is where I keep finding myself at night. Who knew it could be SO hard to find enough fat (without the carbs and protein...).

with lunch yesterday I had tea with stevia, 1/3C of coconut milk (can), 2T HWC, and 1T coconut oil and used the stick blender it was a little less of a slick and the rest of the creaminess actually made the oil almost yummy (weird I know).

Well but 2 slices of thick bacon, according to MFP has 80 calories, 5g of fat and 5g of protein. They are looking for something that has at least twice as much fat as protein.

I have inservice today and tomorrow. I am starting today with a double whammy of bullet proof coffee (my mom calls it shot gun coffee!! LOL) Since I am away from school for this I am not taking my lunch. I am thinking of grabbing an omelet for lunch.

News on the mom front since she start EMF.. last night was the first night she has slept through the night in years. She started a week and a half ago. She is also losing!

So our moms prove it is never too late right? Hopefully what they don't show is that it is a life long battle. I know I will never be able to eat willy nilly, but I would hope that there will be a tad bit of flexibility once goal weight is reached. I am sure I will always be low carb, but hoping that maintenance level is a tad higher than 35g. Or not? maybe by then I will be used to it.
