not "bad" for day 1 and getting my feet wet. Beef jerky in the evening took my protein over a bit.
Tried something new last night. I bought some roasted cocoa nibs. They are pieces of cocoa beans. I ground them up a little more than the pieces. They were still a little chunkier than coffee grounds. I put 4 T in my french press and poured in boiling water. Now if this is the way to make crio bru, I dont know. I did research the difference between crio bru and choffy and its just about the beans, although they are both cocoa beans. Anyhoo.. it was not hot like regular hot cocoa although I did add sweetener and half and half. It was wonderful. If you appreciate tea and or coffee you would like this. They were right in not expecting the thick cocoa of your youth though. The flavor was INCREDIBLE. Also, get this.. I drank the whole pot before bedtime and it did not keep me up. Lower caffeine?? I think so. Ok.. so then at the bottom of my french press were these wonderful cocoa beans.. did I toss them?? NOPE! I made FAT BOMBS. I took a couple T of coconut butter, 1/2 brick of cream cheese, some sweetener and the leftover nibs whipped them up and made fat bomb bombs..LOL They are wonderful!! Tis the season right?? Oh, I added some ground cocoa to them too. They were good and 2 small ones made me satisfied.
Onto day 2.. going to watch the protein today. I think the fat bombs will help me get my fats where they need to be.
