ok, sorry, I looked at the macros, and so no, I won't add the whey. My protein was slightly high so I don't need it.
Calories Technically, if you are reaching your macros and not blowing past them, your calories should work out.

That makes my protein range 65g to 79g
My carb upper end 36g
And my fat would be 144g at the low end and well no need to figure out the high end!
Looking at this, which is where I am going to start as well I am thinking the protein ought to be fine. I am comfortable eating about that much protein.. the 100+g of protein really threw me for a loop. That being said, if my fat is up its logical my carbs should be down and that should not be a big issue getting up to 36g carbs.
I consider the carbs the high end of the range, as well as the protein and the fat the low end. In other words I am trying not to go over in carbs (well net carbs for now) and protien, and not worry as much about if the fat goes over a little. I was a bit high in everything yesterday, but not horribly. And my percentages, which get figured out as straight carb not net, worked out fine, so I am really close.

My carbs usually end up at 10-15 total, but I am eating only a few veggies.
I get carbs from flax, chia, and avocado, but they all have as much fiber as carb, and that gets me 16g of carb right there. I like doing a large salad for dinner and that gives me another 15g of carb or so. Of those 31g, 21g would be from fiber though. Just not sure how using NET vs. straight carbs will affect NK. I do know I do well with having the fiber though, so I am going to try it net carbs first, and if there is no slimming going on, I will slowly drop the carbs to get my straight carbs under 36g.

Day 1.. So far so good but then I love a good traditional breakfast with bacon, eggs, ham and cheese. I also had a couple large cups of coffee with some butter and half and half.. YUM! I will say, after my coffee I was hungry for some protein so the breakfast hit the spot. It was more of a brunch but will see how long it stays with me. I have had 4g total carbs this morning, 29g protein, 55g fat (seems a bit high- perhaps I need only 1 cup of bullet proof coffee).
I will also incorporate bullion/broth today..
Yeah. It's pretty easy to get those fat gramsOthers talk about struggling to eat enough, but I'm not at that point yet
