Yum on the grilled apple pie!
We had 150 kiddos in an hour and a half. We ran out by 7:30. I'm glad there was no candy to tempt me!
Well.. the candy stash is done. I ran out and dd supplemented her own stash because she wanted to give stuff out. Her grandma is buying he replacement candy. We had @ 80 tricker treaters.
I felt better today except for a horrid headache all day. I decided to grill dinner and make apple pie on the grill.. yum!!

We have a ton of candy for the boys because we bought all our little man's faves when we thought we would TOT at home. We never get kids at our house.

I am taking photos of my food today. I will post them all after dinner. However, I am also picturing 30 days of thankfulness. Here is day 1 (also on FB):

I am thankful for books. Through them I meet the most interesting characters, visit exotic places and learn about the world around me, the people around me and about myself.
we had 5 ToTer's
Love the thankfulness journal.

Ok, here is my food entry for today.
B: 3 slices of bacon, 2 eggs, leftover grilled apple pie with whipped cream (I do not put in anything for the whipped cream, I like the taste as is) and my coffee with cream (I have decided its best to stick with decaf most of the time)
L: 5 bacon wrapped chicken livers with homemade bbq sauce (tomato sauce, mustard, cider vinegar, broth, chili powder, minced onion, garlic powder, stevia), carrots with homemade ranch (thanks Chris) and 1/2 grapefruit
D: 2 salmon patties ( salmon, egg, ranch mix) wrapped in leaf lettuce with a mayo dill sauce (and a ginger ale- the only no-no)
S: really dessert- pumpkin pie (pumpkin, egg, 1 package sweetener, pumpin pie spice) with whipped cream

I think a rather good food day though. I will tell you, knowing I was photographing my food it made me reevaluate what I was eating. I looked at it from a new perspective of do have enough protein, how are my fruits and veggies etc.

did you photo the nogs? I think the photos really help me as well!
I used to make a homemade nog that was actually fairly healthy, I think, if I find the recipe I will post it.
do you bake the pumpkin pie, put in in the micro, or just eat it raw?
