OMG! Ok so today's lesson: If a kid has texture and general food issues.. do not introduce them to the St. Patty's day sauce at burger king (green katsup). I am not sure she will ever eat again. *sigh* before you say, well duh-frickin-duh get a clue. What is obviously meant as fun is so not for a kid with ocd. OMG.. rotten mother award- she is scared for life. I need a cocktail.

made corned beef with butter sauteed cabbage, sweet potatoes and rice for the kids.

Need a bright spot in your day? I've been meaning to tell you for a while now that you are absolutely beautiful.
Of all the paths you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt.

You cannot anticipate everything, and these things will hopefully help her eventually cope with bigger things that you cannot prevent.

I do try to anticipate everything and realize this is a problem for me. Good gravy.. its frustrating.

So today she has a friend over until this afternoon (the one that spent the night). They are playing outside. No sunshine but plenty of fresh air. I am working on laundry, some, making another batch of kombucha. The blackberry stuff was so good. This stuff is orange ginger, I think. Also making some jerky. I am feeling tired and not sure why. I want to go walking but its cloudy and windy and yuck not to mention the tree and grass pollen is high (inhaler and breathing machine on standby).. did I mention I am feeling whiney?? I miss the sun.. please come back.

B: 3 eggs and some bacon
L: 1/2 chicken breast, celery, mayo and black olives
D: probably left over corned beef and cabbage

It is crazy windy here, too. Lots of dirt flying around. My allergies are not happy!

I also have jerky going. Will you send me some kombucha I think it sounds like an awful lot of work.

Hope the rest of your day goes well!

Once you have the scoby, its not so much work as waiting for a couple of weeks. I would be happy to send you some.. have to figure out how to do this..

ooo, if you end up with extra scobys and we can figure out the shipping I want one too!

p.s. how is that for a friend, have you do all the work and just scarf on the end?
