so, the scale was not cooperative this morning and did not want to give a reading.. ok.. no news, good news..

I need to replace the battery in my scale.. again no reading but then, I am retaining water. TOM is around the corner. So.. I am wearing clothes that used to be tight and now are quite loose in the waist and hips. Even retaining water, I can see a loss in inches so truly the number of the scale is insignificant. I am losing and thats all that matters, right?
B: eggs, sausage- ok Lil freaked me out and asked for sausage this morning. Yes she wanted maple syrup on it but this is almost unheard of.. asking for meat??? OK!!
L: left over blackberry pork loin from dinner with olive garden salad. My students won the pennies for patients reward and Olive Garden is rewarding them with spaghetti, salad and breadsticks.
D: Brisket in the crock pot for dinner with some asparagus, and cabbage.
I am so ready for spring break.. can not say I am doing anything exciting but I am ready. Oh and step-mom is not coming. mixed feelings about this. I do not have generally close family ties, we have odd relationships.. and one might say not always healthy.. most times I am happy family is at a distance. UGH.. more than you all want to hear but it is what it is, and then again, it isn't what it isn't.
The beauty of these journals is that you can put stuff in here that you need to get out but that might be better left unsaid in your "real world".

Karin, When is your break? Mine is not until the first week in April. 2.5 torturous weeks left.
Friday I have half day with kids and then I am on break.
My hubby would never read it, thank goodness.
Our break is the first week of April as well.

oh the be the mother of an adhd/odd/ocd daughter.. its amazing my hair is still red. So the kid is eating sausage like crazy (not complaining as she normally has an aversion to meat or well.. lets face it, any food) but hey.. we are gonna ride this until that dog don't hunt no more.
B: bacon, eggs, coffee w/hwc
