with a nut allergy, its hard to find bars without them hence my magnetic draw..LOL
Yes please let me know how the sprinkles are!!
that is so funny. The only limitations on nuts that I have are that they must be unsalted and preferably raw (they don't kick in salt cravings that way and take longer to eat when raw) and now I rarely eat them.
I did order the sprinkles so I will let you know how that goes.

I almost wish I were allergic to nuts...that are too easy for me to over-indulge in. I do better to just stay clear (easier said than done sometimes...).

The scale does not define me!!!
The above should give an indication of what type of number I saw today. I need to measure. Lily shared her cold.. yeah me. Headache is back. Slept better last night but then again I took a couple advil pm's so I guess you could say I cheated.
B: bacon/egg pops- made yesterday, overcooked the eggs a bit
L: leftover from last night dinner. I made soup, it had ham in it. I love the stuff so. It was made with bonebroth, onions, celery, carrots, kelp noodles and cabbage. Soup will make it all better- the cold at least- I hope. Skipping h2o aerobics though because the asthma is acting up. Frickin' weird weather!
D: probably a stirfry- I took out a steak
I am feeling tired today, even though went to bed at a good time. Poor Lily and her cold, I gave her a warm shower, cold meds and put her to bed at 7:15pm- she was asleep at 7:20pm. She woke tired too.
Ruth: I see you figured out the signature![]()
Hope both you and Lily get to feeling better soon!!! Keep up the nutritious soups. Great stuff, especially with your homemade bone broth (a batch of which I have brewing myself).

I find if I eat raw nuts I get tired of chewing before I have a chance to over-indulge.
My bone broth is done today and I will be making my lunch soup. I have missed it. Dh worked from home a few days last week and he eats 3 servings of the soup when he eats it. I like that he is getting all that nutrition and protein without realizing it, but when I don't know he is going to be eating at home it is hard to plan to have enough of the soup and so I ran out. And since it has been taking 3 days for the bone broth (in the crock pot) and a full 24 hours to make the soup, planning is essential.

Bad food choices have hit my gut. OMG.. I should head to the confessional. This is worse than lactose...ugh! The fit bit has arrived and I am going to start using it tonight to check sleep.
Yay Fitbit!
Ooh, fitbit, can't wait to hear about it.......
I wish bone broth would make itself. It goes too fast. It's not hard, but like you said Chris, it takes forever to cook!

Yes bone broth does go fast. Before I moved though I bought about everything with a bone, so I could keep bone broth going and could freeze it to get a little ahead. Its all at mom's. LOL Need to get some more.. I am down to one small container in the freezer (that I forgot to take out and make soup with tonight).
I will keep you posted on the fitbit. You can set up an account without one to log quite a bit. Paula- you can log blood sugars, blood pressures, heart rate etc. so you can see a big picture...
more later.
