    go Paula, go Paula!

I buy pre-cut pre-washed, way more likely to get used!

Frozen ones in which it is just veggie, ie no sauce, no sodium added are great to keep around.

I am with Ruth, getting into bed by 9:30 is my current hardest issue. Who'da thunk it? Not the fact that I don't use sugar, flour, grains, pasta, rice, etc, but getting into bed!

I think that relates the the articles that Mark has been writing this week about Akrasia, so appropriate for me!

We grew up eating canned veggies. And basically, only 3-4 varieties. I thought brussels sprouts and sauerkraut were disgusting. Now, BSs are one of my favorites. If I can do it....anyone can The carbs have gone up slightly (around 50 g, but around 20 g fiber). Much over 50, no loss. But, body seems pretty happy in the 50 range. [Too low, no loss either.]

I am in the same boat, 50ish carbs and about 20g fiber, and it seems to be the magic number for me. Below that I don't lose and I don't feel good, above that, well, I don't lose and I don't feel good (I see a pattern here)

Great suggestions ladies.. I am taking notes!!

slight decline on the scale but nothing to write home about. Conferences until 7pm today.. makes for a long day.

B: 3 eggs with ghee and BROCCOLI!!!
    L: Chicken breast and salad
D: hamburger and probably more salad

As soon as things settle down I am focusing on the 9!

Geez. I am so glad we no longer have parent conference days. Conferences are set up through the guidance department in the extra help period. So much better than the marathons where the parents you need to see don't show.

I always went because I felt obligated, if the teacher took the time to show up I felt I should honor it. But, of course my children were always "wonderful" and we had nothing to really talk about. Torture for both of us.

Moved in.. still unpacking. Mostly clothes and personal items. While I am fine being here.. Lily is very emotional because things are not the same.

oh, I am sure that once you get a little settled and give her some love, she will eventually get to know this is the new normal and be very happy there. Neither my son nor my husband like change, the year of our sabbatical and even more so the year after was very very hard on our son, luckily his pediatrician had a degree that allowed her to deal with it very well. She had him doing a journal with drawn pictures that she and he talked about weekly.
