No! Not that kind of weed!

I used these ingredients to make a salad, but I also whizzed up a smoothie while I was at it. Super yummy, a hint of bitterness, but all around DELISH!

Summer Garden Weed Smoothie:

Handful of Lambsquarters leaves
Handful of Dandelion leaves
Small bunch of tender grape leaves
SMALL bunch of tender raspberry leaves (SMALL BUNCH!)
A few green beans
A small cucumber
A squash blossom
Whatever fruit is in season (my raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and grapes were all out of season, so I had to use frozen)
I added a small frozen banana and a handful of frozen raspberries, as well as a splash of 100% pomegranate juice to get things moving

Blend. Drink. Enjoy.

Yes, the banana gives it a bunch of carbs. It's my carbs for the day, and the weeds are REALLY bitter. If you want to up the fat content, an egg or 1/2 an avocado would be a great addition. I would have added an egg, but I forgot.
