Isn't it?! Plus my widow's peak is kind of intense so I get a little unicorn horn. Hulky likes to twist it and make it stand out whenever possible. It's nice not to worry about a part.

BTW, my flake situation is improving. I wash with a shampoo bar or diluted baking soda once a week or a little less often, scrub it and rinse it daily, and use a boar bristle brush before I get in the shower. I think the brazil nuts may be helping any fungal situation I had going on up there. My scalp is going to hate me when I bleach again. Oh well, I can always buzz it

$500 to get Fae's teeth cleaned?!?! $700 if she needs any extractions.

    Uhhhgggghghghghg

I'm going to try to price shop, but I think my savings account in Maine is getting screwed. I had hoped to leave that money alone until our larger wedding celebration until a couple of years

And Hulky's inhaler was $40 wtffffff

I love my animals...... but they aren't going to bleed my savings dry. Kitty would just have to have dirty teeth. Besides - I've heard cleaning you're animals teeth usually leads to other problems, like infections and stuff. maybe let her chew on bones to clean them naturally. That's what cats in the wild do. I haven't seen any vets cleaning wild cats teeth lately!

She has gingivitis too, which increases the risk of rotting teeth.

I'm hoping that if I get her some raw bones to gnaw on, that would help, then I'd just have to pay $65 to have a vet check her out in a couple of months to confirm. I just don't know if that will be too late and she'll have to get the teeth pulled. Hulky jokes about putting her down and I want to deck him.

I'm sure there are lots of people who will spend lots of money on their animals - I'm just not one. But I certainly understand the people who do. We love our pets and they become a part of our lives. Their well being is our responsibility. But, VETS are expensive, and if you can't afford it - you can't afford it. Sometimes common sense and love have to battle it out!

Here's to hoping the bones will work and the vet was exaggerating on the gingivitis!

    Dear friends,

You can find photos of the dress I will be wearing at my engagement party here (the password is mdafriends). I think I like the one-shoulder wrap best, but there are a lot of options! Thanks to Naiadknight, who got this for me I am eternally grateful! I will be wearing a bathing suit under it at the party, but will want to get some of those nipple covers for future wearing, as it's a bit too revealing of the nipple shape to go without something.

The first two photos are how I wore it out today. With my shoulders covered, I see it more as a "guest at a wedding" dress for some reason. It's quite comfy. I think I'm going to trim the hem off the ends of the "straps" because it's not going to fray and it looks odd to me (plus it adds bulk if I tuck the straps in after wrapping).

Pardon my camera-conscious expression. It was just me and the tripod Click the photo below for a larger version! Oh and it's quite a bit more vibrant in person, not sure the photos really capture it.
