I love the name Tobias! A favorite character of mine had the name in a book series I loved as a kid. "Animorphs". Anybody read those?

The only unusual name I've thought of for a hypothetical child is Nova. It probably comes across as very Hippy to other people, I just love the sound of it. We'll worry about it when it's relevant to our life situation :-P.

    Hmm... I forgot.
I suppose my sons middle name is a bit odd. Lane.
But not so odd that I've never heard it as a guys name before.

Husband kind of proposed, the night before the wedding while we were laying in bed together... when I asked him if he ever planned on actually asking me to marry him. His first response to that question, "Why? We're doing it tomorrow."
    So romantic.
Wouldn't really have him any other way.
Our body is our subconscious mind, and anybody who thinks that their conscious mind is running the show is seriously mistaken. In fact the conscious mind just may be the most narcissistic entity in the universe, it thinks it's running the show. It's not.

We'd been married a year and a half when husband said 'today was the day I was going to ask you to marry me'. Yeah, he can be a bit slow to embrace change!

As far as the crunchy morning cereal thingy, toast some coconut flakes in the oven. They are great as a cereal substitute with milk/cream/coconut milk!

Names. Mine is Kellie with an I-E. My mother has mis-spelled it (and she was the one who chose this spelling!), My brother and aunt have gotten it wrong. My nephew's wife's sister always mis-spells it on Facebook even though my name is right there in front of her!! Show some respect people and at least TRY to get it right!
If your body is willing, your mind can push it to do some amazing things.

Ha! I haven't thought about Animorphs in forever! They were a bit below my reading level when they came out, but that didn't stop me

There's nothing wrong with the name Rafe. Just watch Crossfire Trail with Tom Selleck and tell me it's not hot *says drssgchic who is now a puddle on the floor thinking about it*

Geek and I keep tossing around historical names, both in science and in the ancient world. He loves Tesla and his works, so Nikolai wasn't too far a stretch. The kid can go by any of the same nicknames as "Nicholas." I'd love to have the middle name be Maxwell (named for both my father, Max, and the scientist) or Julius.
Eris is the Greek minor goddess of chaos. Lenore is a play on the family female middle name (Lynn) and a reference to Edgar Allan Poe. We've also tossed around Marie for a middle name (Marie Curie.)
Of course, any of those names mean they won't be able to find personalized stuff and will hafta listen to/ see it butchered by everyone. Welcome to earth, prospective kid.

Um, maybe it's just because I do believe names have to do with who we are- but are you sure you want to name a little girl after the goddess of chaos? I mean, isn't that adding fuel to the fire?

She would be my child. Chaos is inevitable. Besides, I can't get away with Wednesday.
