THANK YOU NK!!!! You just reminded me of how badly I want to roast a beastie on a spit (I keep telling my parents to do this for Easter). My grandmother's property has a few open spaces (otherwise 40-50 acres of woods), some that would be PERFECT for that. Planned ahead, we could even have the beast raised at a local farm. Boyfriend's dad has a smoker (though we'd have to get it up there) and I'm sure a neighbor has a decent sized grill. I could ask my sister to be in charge of vegetables haha (token vegans are useful for some things).

I'm not inclined towards decorations. I'm bad at planning that kind of thing anyway. If we had a Fall wedding (my seasonal inclination), the foliage would be lovely enough, but seriously, anytime of year I'd be happy with. And yeah, a non-wedding wedding dress is more like me anyway. I just want something purty.

I don't know that it's your style, but here's where I got mine. I got the long Queen in green and tied a scarf around my waist.

Nice. I kind of like the idea of something akin to what Eowyn wears in The Two Towers. But not sure I want to go that route.

I got the green one I did loosely based on that idea. I knew I didn't want white, so I went green.

BTW, I hate crud in my nose as well, to the point of obsession. I don't neti, but since college (Lincoln administration) I've used a technique a buddy from India showed me as being part of yoga, cupping hands and drawing water through the nose; since then, it's a semi-daily ritual to clean the passages of crudders; in retro, I'm not sure if this really was yoga or he was BSing, but yoga is very concerned with proper breathing.

We did traditional. I love non-trad weddings though, and at your Grandma's in Maine sounds amazing. Why not do a pig roast?

Friends of ours asked everyone to wear something humorous, so that was a fun one.

A piggy roast would rule. Or lamb. A family friend (in Maine) has a farm so either might be possible, though we'd have to set up a spit and learn how to do all that roasting stuff.

Therapy was good. I feel focused today, and happy. It could be the Maca Root. Could just be life. I'm looking forward to this evening and hoping my good mood will last.

Should I make myself coconut flour pancakes or sweet potato?
