"Fats That Heal, Fats That Kill" by Udo Erasmus. It's an older book, but the best explanation I've read on good fats and bad fats, including understandable explanations of the science that makes them good or bad.

"Why We Get Fat" by Gary Taubes. I haven't read this book, but have seen it highly recommended on other threads. It's definitely my next purchase.

The Earth's Children series by Jean Auel. Not sure how well it fits into the PB, but it's interesting to read a tale of hunter/gatherers. The books are set at the time that Neanderthal man was dying out and Cro-Magnon man was gaining dominance. I read the first 5 books years ago and look forward to reading them again and comparing the lives of the characters to Grok and family. btw, the 5th book in the series is somewhat ho-hum, and the customer reviews on totally pan the 6th and final volume that just came out.
Live your life and love your life. It's the only one you get.
