Cheese is a primal *option* but not a necessary part of the plan - and not everyone will consider it an option.

Don't just assume people haven't read the book. People who have read the book still have questions and that is what this forum is for. I happen to eat cheese, but try not to make a habit of it. Lately, though, I have been eating way to much of it and I am starting to gain from it. I just started a thread about cheese. I think some tolerate it better than others. You have to experiment and see for yourself. If you aren't trying to lose weight and if you aren't lactose intolerant I don't see any reason not to enjoy it.

Brie is a super fatty cheese. I'd be worried about the calories above all else.

I love brie cheese. Personally, I get along just fine with dairy as long as I don't overindulge in it, so I eat it and don't think anything of it. Some people don't get along with dairy, or have other issues and avoid it. For me, its about moderation.

I love brie. I eat brie. And I seem to thrive on it....
