Convince me not to do the blood type diet

    Primal Fuel
I want to give it a try because nothing seems to work for me

Being type A I would be a vegetarian

This past year I bulked up, got really strong, then comes time for cutting, I lost most of my muscles and strength, and the fat stays

What the fuck, I store fat in ALL the wrong places

Must be all the medicine they injected me as a kid that screwed my body

Two words; Metabolic derangement. From what i've heard, the O blood type is pretty much the ideal for everyone, and the rest of that stuff is based on pretty sloppy science. I'm an A positive myself and I felt like crap on a vegetarian diet and I did it for 6 years, In fact thats mostly how I ended up here. but hey give it a whirl.

The science behind the blood type diet is all wrong. The whole thing is based on the idea that a certain blood type was the basis of all the others, and it wasn't. There's more, but that tells you right there the science is crap, so what's the point?

Even on the blood type diet, there is another variable: are a secreter or a non-secreter? To find out, you have to find a doctor who will test you and pay a nice sum to have the test. Without that bit of knowledge, even the "eat for your type" guy acknowledges that the blood type diet is hit or miss.

btw, I have no recollection of what is supposedly secreted or not, so won't be able to answer any questions about it. I just remember that as a primary reason for rejecting the whole idea.

I'm A+ too and also felt terrible on a vegan/ vegetarian diet. I think you're more likely to find the answer you,re looking for in hormones than a change of diet.

Exactly. It's bunk. But hey, to each his/her own. If you want to try bunk, have fun.

I doubt Grok and his kin went around testing their blood types to decide what to eat. I doesn't make sense, in my mind, for the human diet to be determined by our individual blood type. I would think this would have been naturally-selected out of our DNA.

From everything I've ever read, when Grok was around there was only type O. A, B and AB didn't pop in till much later.
