Thoughts and opinions on Scottish Sea Farms Salmon?

    Primal Fuel
Looking into spud.com and they carry Scottish Sea Farms Salmon. Not local by any stretch

Anyway, I tried to dig up some research on the quality of their product in terms of pcbs, mercury etc and came up empty.

    Anyone have experience with them?

The fish isn't too bad (it's freely available here, being relatively "local"!) - quite oily compared to wild, but guess that's the case with any farmed fish. Their reputation is reasonably sound, but I try to limit my consumption of farmed fish. Haven't a clue what the levels of pcbs and mercury would be, though, and I doubt they'd tell you were you to ask. Sorry I can't be of more help.

You have to order some and measure the mercury yourself.
