    How do you handle veggies?

So, I buy a bunch of meat at once, and throw it in the freezer. It's beautiful and I love it.

I can't figure out a system for veggies, though.

I'm afraid if I buy a bunch, I'm gonna waste them, but I don't want to go to the store every day.

    Do you have a system?

Quite a few veggies last for a while. Usually the ones that are more firm.

Honestly, I buy a lot of frozen vegetables, especially when they go on sale. Frozen is actually pretty healthy, unless they add a sauce or something.

I buy them both fresh if I know I am going to use it in a bone broth/stew or a stir fry. I also buy a bunch of kale and spinach for salads and smoothies. But just like RitaRose I buy some frozen vegetables as well that I leave in the freezer and just steam them when I need them.

People say I am on a "crazy" diet. What is so crazy about eating veggies, fruits, seafood and organ meats? Just because I don't eat whole wheat and processed food doesn't make my diet "crazy". Maybe everyone else with a SAD are the "crazy" ones for putting that junk in their system.

Zucchini lasts a week in the fridge if bagged. Stick your greens in a dish of water and they'll go two weeks sometimes.

I buy a 5 pack of avocados. Put one in the fruit bowl, put the other 4 in the refrigerator. This provides me with 10 days worth (half a day).

Swiss chard is a fairly long-lasting leafy green and a bag of broccoli slaw will last a week. Sweet potatoes and spaghetti squash will last for a couple of weeks.

I just bought 5 on Monday, and between me and my son, they're already gone.
