    Hey Gang,

I posted a new tutorial on pistol squats today.

Feedback is always appreciated and feel free to post directly on my blog.

Thank you. I started trying pistols as a part of my streching routine, and I found that I cannot get down without going on my toes. I am starting with 'negative' pistols now, holding to the wall (no pole where I stretch), catching my balance and going into full sit, and trying to do the sit part for a few secs. Does that sound like a good start?

I tend to fall over when i try forward pistols, i'm working at reverse pistols (leg backwards) until i gain better strength and balance.

EDIT: After i watched that, i'm gonna try the pole version, maybe with a doorway though cos i don't have an poles :P

Yeah it doesn't have to be a pole - a doorway should work fine. By the way, a one legged squat with the leg behind is generally harder for most people, but you may be an exception.

I have a tendency to fall flat on my face in general :P I did not know that though. ^_^
