Okay, so this recipe comes with a funny story.

Count this as my occasional indulgence:

It is fantastic. You should totally make it.

It was so good, in fact, I thought "what would be more American than making a root beer float with it?"

The maple bacon ice cream root beer float was phenomenal... until the ice cream melted. Mmm, bacon floaties.

I've got one to share with you from a recent bacon party I had...

1/4# Vanilla Bacon (one of the custom cures I do)
Chocolate Ice Cream
Milk
Rum

Crisp the bacon well. Into a blender add ice cream, milk, rum, 1T of bacon fat, and the bacon.
Blend.

Enjoy.

(Totally not approved for anything other than messing up your body once to say you tried it, but damn... it's good, if not the MOST fatass way to eat bacon.)
