Ok, after a good sizeable lunch I ate 4 pieces of dark chocolate, 1 tablespoon of Cashew Butter, 1 tablespoon of Almond Butter with Flaxseeds and more than half a jar of Maranatha Almond Butter (354g).
Assuming I already heard the "don't buy them" thing, how the hell do I resist them?

I don't know. I don't like the flavor of almond butter, so it's easy for me. Almonds is a different story, though.

For me, it's 'shit that stuff's $8 a jar' I can afford a tablespoon![]()

Out of sight, out of mind. I stick things like nut butters and chocolate in the back of the pantry on a low shelf, so they don't leap out at me when I open the door.

I was a sugarbaby; meaning since I was born I was given lots of sugar, and ate lots of processed foods, especially sweets until I was into my thirties. Most people in the west were/are sugarbabies.

I feel kind of bad for pigging out... but I guess I need to learn from the experience instead of feeling bad. I need to gain weight after all, so it's paradoxical I'm feeling this way... maybe I'm feeling this way because I felt like "I lost". It was a number of nut butters I ate, and one of them I ate half a jar.
Maybe visualizing all the rancid fats you're eating will gross you out. As soon as you break the integrity of the nut, things start going south. A commercial product that sits on the shelf who knows how long is sort of disgusting if you think about it too much.
