How do you react to gluten?

    Primal Blueprint Expert Certification
I only ask because I ate a TINY bit last Friday night. (Like 1 bun from a slider).

I was fine that night, but the next day I was CRANKY.

Does anyone else have that reaction?

Exhausted, grumpy, totally inflamed, my gums swell, my gut hates me, my throat gets scratchy, and I get very mad at myself.

    Depends on the amount.
    One bite, nothing.
Amount similar to a slider bun, I get foggy brained, grumpy, sleepy and anxious.
Any more than that is all of the above plus unpleasant digestive issues.

Pain! Bad pain for a day and moderate pain for two or three days after that. Not to mention gut problems, headaches, and asthma, and... yeah, no thanks. You BET I get cranky, feeling like that!
Primal eating in a nutshell: If you are hungry, eat Primal food until you are satisfied (not stuffed). Then stop. Wait until you're hungry again. Repeat.

Pretty sure my latest acne outbreak is gluten related, but not sure. No pain, swelling, or inflammation. Just obnoxious, ugly zits.

I'm ok with it. Get a bit bloated or with gas but it's fine.

I get weird. If it's too much intake, achey, joint problems, lethargy, migraines, bad stomach, digestion issues, bad moods, bad sleep, cloudy thinking, poor focus, increased sensitivity to red wine.

If it's just a little bit of bread, eg: a cookie, or a small slice of cake, or a little bit of brioche, I'm generally "ok", knees might hurt the next day, or I have some muscle cramping issues.

Something else strange that I'm trying to figure out... if I intake sugar (shared a sundae on my birthday) I've been getting super aggressive and really just wanting to fight. It's completely counter to my average nature as well. Makes me think I should play rugby and eat some ice cream before a match. It's utterly confusing.

Cramping diarrhea. It's a good motivator to stay away from it.
