    Hello Mark ,


    After doing my p90X workouts i have some seriuos muscle soreness ... any ideas on how i can reduce them .... i heard good antioxidants and vit a and e will do the job - Pratt

    Did you just start working out.


    Muscle soreness is part of the game... you shuoldn't work out a muscle if it's sore though... so you might need to do every other day until you adjust.


    I hear potassium helps so maybe bananas and a good post workout stretch is all you can really do.

    I find that doing a lot of walking (several miles) on the same day as a heavy workout helps mitigate soreness. Also, drink a lot of water. Give your body adequate recovery time between heavy workouts (2-3 days minimum), but don't be afraid to do other kinds of workouts in between (like HIIT) even if you're muscle-sore.
