So glad you decided to come back! I was just getting to know you. Love the primal humble pie title. This forum is awesome, especially now that you're back.

Oh my - that's quite a compliment - in fact all of you, thank you once again!

So glad you're back. . .keep us posted on how your back is doing. (BTW--I think humble pie is especially primal if it's filled with loads of saturated fat!)

Ah yes, I'm sure it has loads of sat fat in it!
I must say, my back has improved a great deal - I only seem to get some pain now when I get up from sitting for a long time and it comes back a bit in the evening. Other than that, I probably think I'm in a better state than before 'it' happened.
Back to the gym next week - yay!

Not being able to work out, on top of the drug cocktail, probably also made a bad mental situation worse for you. When I had a concussion and a stinger from a bike crash, and was on Vicodin, I thought my mind was folding in on itself. Welcome back, PK.

You're so right, MightyMite. I love working out, it gives me a real buzz. I'd got to the stage where I couldn't even do my walks to the train stations (total 50 mins a day) to get to work, so I was turning into a really frustrated, miserable lady. Your description of your mind folding in on itself sounds just about right.
I won't be taking my health for granted in the future, that's for sure!
