    Bacon Fat?

How long will bacon fat keep in the fridge? The bacon doesn't contain any preservatives such as nitrites if that makes a difference.

Rendered fat has a really long shelf life. I'd say at least 6 months in the fridge, probably longer if it was rendered over low heat.

This site is pretty good for reference in the future: http://www.stilltasty.com/fooditems/index/16430

I keep mine in the freezer, then just cut a chunk off when I need it. It's been in there a few months & still tastes fine
