    Giving Grok a Go...

I'm a 21-year-old looking to lose a little weight, gain some energy, and (hopefully) some self-control and balance in my life. Although I've never used a philosophy for a diet, I'm gonna give Grok a go--with baby steps.

Over the past week, I've been cutting out processed grains and sugars from my diet. The new meals consist mostly of nuts, protein, veggies, and some fruit. I feel more energized. Vegetables were never a solid part of my diet, so it's nice to really see what they can do.

What surprised me was after my first night of reverting to my cheese-fry-loving ways, I felt physically awful. Seems like just a few days of eating healthy made a difference.

Back on track and carrying on.

Welcome. Primal is mostly easy and it works. Remember the exercise, etc.
    Ancestral Health Info

I design websites and blogs for a living. If you would like a blog or website designed by someone who understands Primal, see my web page.

Primal Blueprint Explorer My blog for people who are not into the Grok thing. Since starting the blog, I have moved close to being Archevore instead of Primal. But Mark's Daily Apple is still the best source of information about living an ancestral lifestyle.
