Is baking even POSSIBLE without eggs or dairy???

Both eggs and dairy are out for now, and I will so miss my bread-y, muffin-y treats full of coconut flour and nut flours.....

Help! My pleasures in life are dwindling here!

Don't worry, you can totally bake with out eggs and dairy. When I was vegan I baked all the time. You just have to play around with things that make your goodies raise and stick together.

Thanks - great news. I'm needing a good, quick source of carbs that I'm able to have on-the-go, can eat while driving and dont have to worry about how it's stored. Baked stuff is great for that.

My daughter and I love, love love baking together, too - especially since she loves the stuff we've come up with so far.

I forgot to add egg substitutes.

Egg replacer: you can find it at the health food store
    Banana: 1/2 banana = 1 egg
    Applesauce: 1/4 C. applesauce + 1/2 t. baking soda = 1 egg
    Flax seeds: 1/3 C. flax seeds + 1 C. water well blended = 6 eggs

Without wheat, sugar, eggs, and dairy, why are you bothering to even try to bake? It seems so pointless.
For me, baking is not something I'm interested in anymore because it would always revolve around "copying" foods I can't eat, and that doesn't seem like a healthy mindset long-term (for me).
If you are new to the PB - please ignore ALL of this stuff, until you've read the book, or at least http://www.marksdailyapple.com/primal-blueprint-101/ and this (personal fave): http://www.archevore.com/get-started/

just use applesauce & nut butters with baking soda

easiest pancake recipe is almond butter, banana, and the flour of your choice
