I thought I had seen it at my farmers market, but then when i started looking couldn't find it again. I think this vendor might've gotten moved. Anyway, in Indiana raw milk is still illegal, so they sell it as "pet food."

I'm going to make some yogurt with it! (After tasting it first. I bet it's GOOD.)

They sell raw milk at New Frontiers (which is like a Whole Foods) and I bought it one time...it was DeLICIOUS. But I don't buy it anymore, cuz its like $12.00 for a small bottle. The milk came from our local Cal Poly dairy cows. Maybe i'll just buy it for special occasions...What do they charge for it in Indiana?

Ouch, that's pricey. I buy mine through a raw milk co-op. It's $7 a gallon and WELL worth it!

I pay about $4 for a half gallon. It's definitely a luxury and I don't have it very much. I am making plans for my own dairy cow though. Imagine...fresh raw milk, cheese, sour cream, butter... drool

Would probably try raw milk again if I find a supplier. As a kid, I hated drinking milk, even though my parents kept pushing it on me. But that was the stuff they bought at the store. When I stayed at my uncle's farm, I would help milk the cows and later drink some of the milk. Totally raw and unprocessed. It never bothered me, and actually tasted good.

So the cows played to a draw: +1 for the milk, -1 for me having to go through the pasture to collect the fertilizer they produced. lol
