Are you "force-drinking" water during the day? I remember Mark saying that massive water intake to lose weight is a myth and that you should just drink when you're thirsty

Possibly. I rarely eat lunch, so in the afternoon I will drink more "just in case" I get hungry.

You lousy kids! Get off my savannah!

I seemed to have the opposite effect and have been thinking about going back to my old routine of chugging a bottle of water right before bed. It seemed like the nights I drank a lot of water, I lost more weight. I'd weigh myself, note weight, drink water, and re-weigh in the morning. It was consistantly .2-.4 lbs more loss on the nights I drank water.

Is it possible that water draws water? Which is to say, maybe the presence of water in a dormant body "wicks" water away from it and carries it into the bladder? A fantasy?
