    Headaches caused by almond meal?

    Primal Fuel
    Hi Fellow Grokers,
I have been getting headaches lately after going on the pb. Do you think this might be because of increased intake of various nuts (almond, macadamia, etc.)? I love almond meal as it has been a great replacement of flour in recipes. Also, I seem to get the headaches after eating fruit. Thoughts? I am really sick of popping Tylenol to control them.
    Thanks a bunch,
    arbie

Given that the reaction is to fruit, I would wonder if you are jerking your blood sugar around. Any swift change in blood sugar gives me a headache (I have to test to figure out if it's an up or a down though, so i'll know what to do to fix it).

    Thanks for your thoughts . . .
I'm am thinking it might be a combination of the two. I love strawberry (low sugar) jam and aged cheese on almond crackers (though I have heard some people say almonds help their headaches) and that seems to bring on a whopper of a headache. I still crave sweets still! ARGHH!
    Thanks,
    arbie
