Not a big difference. You look great in all the pics!

People say I am on a "crazy" diet. What is so crazy about eating veggies, fruits, seafood and organ meats? Just because I don't eat whole wheat and processed food doesn't make my diet "crazy". Maybe everyone else with a SAD are the "crazy" ones for putting that junk in their system.

well thanks, point is carbs arent the stupid macro everyone should be scared about so i did my own experiment.... one full week of as close to 300g of carbs a day as i could stomach.

    *sleep improved tenfold
    *skin is softer
*after 2 days, poop is SUPERB!!!
    *mood is better
    *i stay asleep
*no desire for coffee or cigs THIS IS HHHUUUGGGEEEE

only complaint, i dont think i produce all the enzymes i need for all this different food YET, as am getting use to and over the flatulence feeling and passing gas but i am sure it will pass

This has been my experience as well... I'm usually awake at 3 or 4AM but since upping my carbs my sleep is getting, slowly albeit progressingly better.

And I just had a binge today with a whole bunch of nut butters (cashew, almond, coconut) and diary... oh man... I'm stuffed but I know I'm going to sleep like a log.

A week is not year after year after year. Also, everyone varies. There are a cohort of people who eat the CW 50% cal from carbs and do fine. There are other people who blow up like balloons. Yay for you, but I know for a fact that my mileage varies considerably from yours.

the ONLY downside I see to higher carb eating (in healthy people, yadda yadda) is having to limit or scale back on fat. Mind you, I don't slather food with fat and never really have, but in the interest of not consuming wild amounts of calories. I love LOVE potatoes cooked in lard, but something tells me that doing so too often would most likely promote weight gain despite all my workouts/ec... so I'm content to do high carb/low fat twice or thrice a week and moderate carb/moderate fat every other day.
