    Question Ketogenic zone advice please???

    Primal Fuel
Hi! I have a 25 year high school reunion to go to in about 3 weeks. So, I want to try and shed as many pounds of fat as possible before then. Losing weight is really hard for me as I have hypothyroidism. The good thing is that it doesn't seem to make me tired or lethargic so I do enjoy a good workout every day.
I don't want to starve myself... I don't get "carb sickness" either as I am quite used to going without. Today my carbs were at 30 grams, my protein at 95 grams and my fat at 129. USUALLY though, my fat is lower (around 80-90) and my protein much higher (up to 150 grams). My total intake of calories was at just slightly below 1700.
I feel like I have lots of energy and I don't feel hungry...
Anyhow, my question is this... if I am eating very few carbs, should I still cut back on calories? (maybe go down to 1400-1500?) Or is cutting back on the carbs good enough. I am just looking for the biggest bank for my buck for this reunion (short of killing myself or having it all backfire on me)
    Any advice would be welcomed!!!
    Thanks in advance

Yes, slash calories as much as possible while keeping protein adequate.
With next to no carbs slashing calories pretty much equals cutting fat.

Then get back to a more reasonable long term diet for next YEAR.

I assume you put this in the exercise forum by mistake.
Might get more responses in nutrition.
