Grok would drink from neither a bottle, nor the tap. To be truly primal, you must give up both. However, tap water and bottled water can be part of your 20%.
Just curious how many of you drink bottled vs. tap water and the reasons for your choice?
I drink bottled water (reverse osmosis) and I go through a lot of it, but I'm thinking about switching to tap because things I've heard/read about the dangers of bottled water, plus just the money I'd save by switching to tap.
Thoughts on the subject would be appreciated.

I drink carbon filtered tap water, but we also have pretty good tap water in St. Louis. For me, it would depend on where I lived. I feel that my filter is sufficient. It's an under the sink model, not the kind that just screws on the faucet.
I drink bottled because our tap tastes terrible. No better reason than that.
Home filtered. My city water report is a lill scary. I'll drink it at restaurants or whatever, but the bulk of my water gets filtered before drinking.

tap. there are environmental reasons of course, but i also just prefer it. we have great water here in NH and what comes out of the tap is usually fresher than what you can find in a bottle
i don't think water goes under the umbrella of the 20% rule. it's water. granted, i love opening my mouth under a falling natural spring, but most of my water needs to come from a faucet.
I have a reverse osmosis filter at home. I use ConcenTrace drops to remineralize it.
Grok had clean running streams. We don't. Personally, I don't get too literal with Grok. He's a good teaching tool but for me its ultimately about doing what optimizes my health based on the best information we have at hand. If that's at odds with what Paleolithic man did, I'm perfectly ok with that.
