I'm not quite to my goal yet, so I'm not doing any pictures, but damn does it feel good to be 50lbs lighter than I was just a few short months ago...and its been relatively easy doing it!

Yep, I've lost 53 lbs and my knees keep saying, "Thank you, thank you".

    Well done.

Great Job - it's amazing that this many months in (I started Jan 3rd and am down >60lbs) it is sustainable. Many people who comment on my weight loss say in a dramatic way "I know how hard it is" and I reply "No, I just stopped eating foods that are bad for me and the rest just happened". They always give me a puzzled loook like I'm "special" or something!

    Wow! Cool
    Ancestral Health Info

I design websites and blogs for a living. If you would like a blog or website designed by someone who understands Primal, see my web page.

Primal Blueprint Explorer My blog for people who are not into the Grok thing. Since starting the blog, I have moved close to being Archevore instead of Primal. But Mark's Daily Apple is still the best source of information about living an ancestral lifestyle.

Thanks so much guys. Its definitely been a journey so far, and it will continue to be. I've hit some plateaus here and there that have tested my patience but I've broken on through every one of them. I've not been nearly as strict as I could have been...I've used a more than fair portion of the 80/20 rule. I but I looked at this from the beginning as a way of living, and not just a "diet" to meet some goal. All in all though I love my big assed salads, my omelets, bacon, vegetables, and I don't really miss the other foods that much. Sometimes I'll steal one fork full off of someone elses plate at restaurant just to get a taste, but that basically satisfies my "craving" for it.

I was digging through my old P90X stuff when I tried that a few years ago and seen my waist measurements (I didn't actually do any of that when I started the PB But I was actually heavier when I started this than when i started P90X ironically enough...) and found that it was 42 inches back then. I'm 36 today. So 8 inches lost atleast, probably more actually.
