    What's in regular mayo....

    Primal Blueprint Expert Certification
    What ingredient is in regular mayo that's not primal? Mine says it's gluten free. Thanks!

    Soybean/canola oil. They are highly processed and should be avoided. Most also have some added sugar/corn syrup, but not enough to really matter much.

    Making it yourself is perfectly primal, you just need egg yolks, oil (olive, macadamia, or walnut), lemon and salt. Even store-bought that says it's olive oil has soybean or canola oil in it.

    Yes the health food store kind says made with olive oil. Yeah right. two drops in with the expeller pressed gunk.
